Ayurvedic Medicine
A science that is over 5,000 years old and still has much to teach about your body.
Ayurveda is one of the oldest medicines in the world, originating in India and recognized by the WHO as a traditional health system. More than treating diseases, it investigates what lies behind them, based on the principle that each person is unique, with their own physical, mental, and emotional constitution.
THE DOSHAS
In Ayurveda, the body is understood through three fundamental energies called doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each person is born with a specific combination of these energies. When in balance, the body functions well. When one dosha predominates beyond its natural level, the first signs of imbalance appear.

VATA
Movement and communication: Creativity, agility, and enthusiasm. Out of balance: anxiety, insomnia, and irregular digestion.
PITTA
Transformation and metabolism. Determination, focus, and intensity. Out of balance: inflammation, irritability, and reflux.
KAPHA
Structure and stability: Calmness, resilience, and loyalty. Out of balance: weight gain, sluggishness, and fluid retention.
HOW THE DISEASE DEVELOPS
Ayurveda views illness as a process, not as an event.
Long before a diagnosis, the body already gives signs: fatigue without apparent cause, unstable sleep, slow digestion, mood swings. Signs that are often ignored or treated in isolation.
